My name is Anabella, also known as Lucuma. Originally from Argentina, I now live in Malmö, southern Sweden.
I create collages, write, skate, organize events, facilitate workshops, and travel the world while pet sitting. I have a background in biology and spent over 10 years working in life science research. Some time ago, I chose to leave academia to explore new directions.
Lucuma in Bloom is my creative shelter. My blog-journal where I dare to embrace my multipotentiality – that is, my multiple passions: Feminism, Community Building, Rollerskating, Facilitation, Visual Arts, Science (and many more!) – and allow my projects to flourish.
Here you will find a blend of visual arts, science, and Nordic adventures. A mix of texts about creative journeys, reflections on how science and the arts intersect, plus a sneak peek into what it’s really like to live in Sweden.
Do you also feel you have multiple interests and don’t know how to combine them? Do you also have projects waiting to see the light and bloom?
Then, let’s prepare the ground together!
Don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you want to get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
